Regarding the hackathon project

I want to know if is it alright to create a backend server for REST APIs to call third party APIs and use the AI from the frontend(on device API). Also, I am creating backend server in express and frontend windows application using the React and ElectronJS, so does that fit within the hackathon rules?

    Hi Gurneesh, as long as the AI models ( your own models/ models downloaded from Qualcomm AI Hub) are integrated into your frontend application, and the application is running on the Snapdragon device (physical device or Qualcomm Device Cloud ), your project qualifies for the hackathon.

    Also Ramya, the use of third party APIs are allowed as well like instagram or linkedin or weather api

    Hi Gurneesh,

    Third Party APIs are covered in the rules under Section 4: "Third Party Integrations: If a Project integrates any third-party SDK, APIs and/or data, Entrant must be authorized to use them in accordance with any terms and conditions or licensing requirements of the tool."
